Leya is a 15yr 15.2hh TBxSecD. She is a lovely mare who trys her best too please. She requires a confident rider who can deal with her quirky moments. She is bombproof in traffic however she sometimes spooks at silly things like other horses ridding past. With a confident rider she will move on however like any mare can be stubborn so required patience. She will hack alone or in company (likes to be at the front). When hacking on her own she can be a little joggy but when in constant work is easy going. She works lovely in the school when in work however has never been schooled properly, she will work in an outline but takes a knowledgeable rider who is willing to take time with her and after a few weeks she will get there. She loves to jump however can be nervous and stop at the last minute. Again with a confident rider this doesn't happen. The yard she is at has amazing hacking with access to st brides common and can also get to Merthyr Mawr and Ogmore beach. In open spaces leya does get excited but will get over this if is taken to them regularly.
She is amazing with the farrier,dentist and vet. 9/10 she is good to catch however sometimes will take a while but normally okay. She can get stressed when brought onto the Yard on her own but as long as someone is in sight she is fine.
She is a really quirky character who has loads to give however I just no longer have time to ride her as often as needed due to family and work commitments. She does need a confident rider who would like to use her as a happy hacker and school her. She will travel but not well so not someone who would be looking to show. If you have any questions please contact me however please no time wasters as this is a very hard decision that I am not taking lightly. Full contracts will be in place.
