15.2hh 5yr old ex-flat-racer mare. We have owned V for nearly two years. She was brought to be retrained to dressage. Sadly she does not enjoy dressage even though she's good at it. She has been turned out since May due to moving yards, before that she was working on half pass and flying changes - slowly getting an understanding. She has never jumped with a rider but shows great scope loose. She jumps everything not caring what is under it. Has gone up to 3ft9 loose easily (pictured). V is snaffle mouthed, does have a tendency to curl back from the bit or twist into it. She's good to handle, will let you know she's irritated before poking a hindleg out. Lives in a mixed herd. Can be a bit hot and cold, some days you have to kick others sit quiet, some days she will hack in all traffic others she can't cope with big things, some days will ride past cows other days not. She has competed dressage scoring up to 78% under an affiliated judge at prelim unaffiliated. Loads and travels well. Needs dope for clipping as very twitchy. Good to bath, hose down. Good to ride in open spaces. Will make a good eventer. Just started lunging to get her back into work. Heart breaking sale as I hoped to have her for life. Never bolted or reared. Has done the very rare small buck. Prefers to live out as does wind suck when in - a collar stops this easily. Wiltshire £2500.00
