Description:

Bay gelding, 11 years old 16hh. He was gelded as a 4 year old, a few months after we bought him. He has sired 2 foals.
He is a thoroughbred type. His passport was not issued by Weatherby's. He is microchipped. He has never raced, and was not backed until we were interested in buying him as a 4 year old. He was professionally backed by John Tuck, then ridden mainly by my daughter and occasionally by her friends and my husband and myself.
He has done Pony Club with my daughter, fun rides, seen hounds and travels well in a trailer.
He loves jumping, especially show jumping, and will reluctantly do flat work, but gets bored. He prefers to live out all year round. He doesn't get much of a winter coat, so we have never clipped him, but have rested the clippers on him when clipping our other horse. He is good to shoe, but can be fidgety. He is quite excitable, but safe on the roads, not worried about agricultural vehicles or lorries. He comes with rugs, and tack is negotiable. We ride him in a French link snaffle bit. If you want to see him as a young horse, he appears in the opening scenes of War Horse, as a foal. He only has 2 white fetlocks so he had his own make up team for the film.
