Very sad sale of my Bay 7yr old 16.2 TB. Last ran 20th September 2020, retired sound.
Unfortunately I've found that I don't have the time for the work that he needs and I feel that he's wasted with me.
He is green, having not seen much of the world outside of racing, but I have hacked him out in company and found him to be good in traffic and he has been getting more confident around sheep and cows.
I have schooled him and found him to be eager to please and, although he's still inexperienced in the school, I feel that he will improve when he gets stronger.
He lives out 24/7 with me, hay in the evening and a feed. Currently living with another gelding but will live alone and can be left happily in the field when the other horse is ridden out.
He travels well in a trailer, once you get going, only being a little impatient to get on with it.
He is lovely to handle in and around the stable and field, good with the farrier, just gets a little fidgety when he's bored if my farrier is taking too long!
He is not a novice ride. Although he is lovely he is still green and needs an experienced rider to put the work in to get the very best out of this willing horse. Please no time wasters, only a home that will love and understand him will be considered.
