15.2hh chestnut thoroughbred mare for sale in The Vale of Glamorgan

For sale
Hot dreams aka Susie
15.2hh full thoroughbred mare.
Rising 14
Not a novice ride as she can be a classic chestnut thoroughbred mare at times.
Very honest advert

I have made the Heartbreaking decision to put susie up for sale due to a change in circumstances on my behalf and needing to do what's right for susie. This is a very honest advert as I want her to go to the very best of homes that she deserves.

Susie is a lovely mare who is turned out in a mixed herd and does very well out.
She can be strong if hacking on her own and can throw in the odd occasional nap but nothing violent if she doesn't want to go past something.
Susie is learning her coloured poles very well as she is only used to rustic fences in her old home.
Susie hacks better in company and will go first or last and has also nannied nervous ponies out on rides with me.
Susie is a handful for back feet with the farrier and is currently only front set shod. This is due to an accident in previous home (full history of this will be disclosed) she is definitely getting better over time and can give references from farrier also. She wont kick but will lift her hoof up quickly and might take a few attempts to get hold of it. Again this will come fully over time and farrier has said she just needs constant handling of her back legs and she will be right as rain.

Susie will be a monkey to catch but as soon as she trusts you she will allow you to catch her straight away.

Susie can be turned out on her own but likes to be stabled with other horses as she will stress if she is on her own.
To mount susie does need work as can take a couple minutes to get on at the block but this is also coming over time.
Susie does not buck under saddle usually but when she's excited or not been ridden for a few days she can throw in a little bounce if you ask her to canter but nothing nasty.

Susie is excellent in traffic and is used to all farm machinery although when she's on her own she can spook at motorbikes going at speed if her rider doesn't reassure her but again this is nothing violent and she either stops or does a little shy to the side.
To travel susie can be nervy on her own and take a little while to load if it's a lorry but usually goes straight on if it's a trailer but always loads first time in company. Susie will stand all day for a bath as she loves the fuss. I have never clipped her so don't know how well behaved she is to be clipped

Susie has been the best first horse for me as she's given me a lot to learn and taught me lots but due to circumstances i would like her to go to a knowledgeable home where she can have the time and work put into her that she needs.

Her price reflects her issues and includes her full wardrobe.
Susie does need her jabs restarting as she is just over the years time period for them.
She will be shod prior to sale as I'd like her to go comfortably.

£3500 including full wardrobe
