Exceptionally well bred 11.3 5 year old, registered Welsh Section A Gelding. Woody is a huge character to any yard, he is currently out on loan as a lead rein pony however due to circumstances he is offered for sale at a bargain price. He is a sweet boy but a typical Welsh at the same time, he is brilliant out hacking in company and alone however, Woody has began planting when leaving his friend in the field, it takes a little encouragement and patience to get him going and then he will go for the hack absolutely fine, he thoroughly enjoys adventuring. Woody has done minimal to no schooling and will need more work on this.
He had a successful showing career as a colt (he was cut late) and has had many winnings such as Royal Welsh in 2014 so could easily return to showing.
There is no way to fault him on the lead rein, he is a all round cracking pony who loves to please, he will pop a jump, walks, trots and will canter if asked, he just needs more work.
Good to clip, load, farrier. (Requires more work with picking up his feet, happy to discuss this)
Up to date with farrier, dentist and vaccinations and had a recent vet check which came back fabulously (happy to show vet report). Will come with all his tack and his few rugs. NO daydreamers, pony riders or loans. Text only, NO calls - WHATSAPP for a quicker response!!
