Hi! Please, meet Jasper.
He is looking for a kind home.
He is a one-in-a million, handsome partially backed, good natured, healthy, approx. 11hh Welsh gelding & kids riding pony/lead rein project around 6 years old, with a unique silvery blond mane.
Super for vet, farrier, dentist, trainer, helpers etc.
Been good to lead and so easy to do, tack up, train & dress up etc.
Not bit or kicked, bullied, dragged nor been stubborn.
Loved & well tamed & trained but not spoiled nor given treats etc so very easy.
Full re-homing - pony becomes fully yours - not a loan or lease rescue.
Passport & signed receipt given.
Please no dealer/producers.
Good enough to go directly to a kind family.
Especially ideal for big home school family or family affected by autism.
Alternatively for a community project or small therapy/party pony business.
Willingness to learn more important than experience.
LIKELY TO MAKE LOVELY KIDS PONY - LEAD REIN, FIRST RIDDEN, PONY CLUB, HACKER, PET etc.
If willing to put in that bit of work person can save yourself a few thousands.
Also great chance to get to know the pony & get a great bond with him.
Was PERFECT FOR VETS when they checked, vaccinated, jabbed & gelded him.
Likewise BRILLIANT FOR DENTIST to put gag in his mouth to check & rasp his teeth.
'GREAT FOR FARRIER who comes every six weeks to trim his feet.
They were amazed!
Jasper just stood there, from the start, with ears forward to let them do what they had to do.
Not often you get ponies as easy as that.
Shouldn't be too hard or take too long to finish backing him .
We just don't have a small enough jockey often enough.
My daughter is, however, very good at kindly taming & training youngsters.
Backs them with tack, weights, long reining etc so ready for family with little rider to take over.
Not rushed, abused nor done roughly nor with treats.
JASPER IS GOOD TO BE TACKED UP & WORK WITH TACK & WEIGHTS ON.
Lovely peaceful chap who likes to learn.
GOOD TO CATCH, LEAD, TIE UP, BRUSH, WASH, PLEAT, JAB, RUG UP, TACK UP & PICK FEET.
Been fine sharing barn run & paddock with mares, geldings, stallion & young colts
Microchipped & Passported.
Been GELDED.
Well wormed (not keen on it but it gets done.)
Vaccinated against Flue & Tetanus & up to date.
Teeth checked, rasped & up to date.
Feet just done & GREAT TO HAVE ALL FOUR FEET PICKED.
BEEN THROUGH STANDARD ISOLATION PERIOD ON ARRIVAL & NO SIGN OF SICKNESS.
No sign of laminitis, asthma, sweet itch, lumps or bumps etc either.
Like so many young horses did have a hint of stifle lock but grown out of it.
Please note doesn't normally stop a pony being ridden.
Riding/walks/exercise especially up-hill helps it & usually cures it.
Many youngsters have it & like him grow out of it.
Should make a lovely children's pony & some one's best friend.
RE-HOMING FEE only £900 as seen.
A bargain for the lovely, handsome, healthy pony he is & for all he has had done.
Open to viewing & vetting.

Person must be kind, able to afford him & have a suitable place or paddock to keep him.
For welfare & legal reasons cannot be re-homed unseen.
