Lovely, Easy, All Up to Date 4 Year Old, 10.2hh Welsh Lead Rein/Therapy Project Mare, Companion Pony or Family Pet. in Newton Le Willows

£900

MISSY is a lovely, brave, tame, little, 4 yrs old approx. 10.2hh Welsh mare.
Maybe future Lead Rein Pony, Therapy Pet, First Ridden
Project for a family, small party pony business, petting zoo or therapy centre.
Bred for good nature.
Came to the rescue after her owners/breeders sadly passed away.
Had the usual 6 months of bonding, being put right taming & training.
Been through the usual isolation & checks on arrival - to be sure..
Was NOT sick nor did she or any of the other ponies show any sign of sickness.
There has been no sign of laminitis, sweet itch sarcoids or notable injuries either.
A bit of stifle lock but vet says it's nothing some uphill walks/rides can't sort in a few weeks.
It is common in young horses but not painful or anything serious.
They can still be backed or produced - in fact being ridden can help cure it.
With the right exercise they usually grow out of it.
This is NOT like some of the serious health issues or bad vice that many older lead reins often have.

ALL UP TO DATE & EASY TO DO
Microchipped & passported & had 1st/2nd Flue/Tetanus vaccinations.
Feet trimmed by farrier every 6 weeks & worming done regularly.
Taming & training ongoing - started tack, long reining & lunging.
Just about to have her teeth checked & rasped by dentist for first time as old enough.
Easy to catch, tie up, brush. rug up, pleat, worm, & jab.
Amazing to wash & hose.
Been fine living in or out in mixed herd.
Fine to load & travel.
Used to having feet picked but can pull back but will come right with more practise.

Fine to lead & used to going for walks around the farm & in the nature reserve.
She enjoys the attention of people passing but still unsure of dogs.
Just never been out her field or seen anything or anybody before she came but bred for good nature.
It's all just new to her but she is brave & will soon learn.
Brave type who usually checks things out instead of spooking/running off.

Her similar looking rother was our super calm/safe as they come out & about 'mascot'.
he is now an amazing therapy pet & new owners says they have found nothing that spooks him.
Missy is still young & needs more walks/backing but should be an exceptionally easy project.
A horsey or willing-to-learn family with a small child should easily be able to do it themselves.
Happy to offer some tips.

Lovely little pony ready for more training & backing.
Re-homing fee £900 as seen.
Not for profit & signed receipt given.
Pony & passport becomes fully yours.
Does not come with tack but not usually that expensive.
Can advise what sizes are needed & on where to get etc.
Happy to help you get started.

Must be kind, able to afford & have suitable place to keep.
(Not to garden, not to fly graze, not to shed & not to dirty, deep muck dealer/producer's yard.)
Fine to live out in a paddock with a friend(s), water & natural or manmade shelter if not too muddy.

Open to viewing & vetting & honest advise given - just message.
Whole family welcome & transport available - postcode for quote.

If interested please do not hesitate to get in touch.
Tell us a bit & book a visit to meet her, kindly check her out etc.
We can then discuss suitability etc.
If not right for you we might have another that is.
We don't mess around.
If you are kind, can & will afford it, it's a good match & you have a suitable place then great.
You can then pay & sort paperwork & take or have delivered there & then.
If not that is fine too - there are no obligations.
If anything you are not happy with, you are unsure or have any doubt we say 'leave it out.'
We want our lovely ponies to go to homes who really want them.
Homes that will love them, value them, look well after them & really enjoy them.

Cost price transport available (if paid up front) to anywhere in the UK but not unseen.
Must be viewed/kindly checked out here or at person's place.
No obligation to re-home but T&C's apply.
Messages checked daily. x
