Flicka (passport name Sassy) has been with us for nearly 2 years. Unfortunately she hasn't made the height expected so sadly is looking for a new home. Flicka is a very friendly pony who loves everybody and can always be caught even if you have just turned her out.
She was purchased unbacked and has been brought on slowly on lead rein and has more recently been ridden independently by my daugter (5) and older cousin. She has mainly been to pony club rallies and done some hacking in company. She has also competed in pony club games and dressage competitions. She has jumped up to 60cm on the lunge and 30/40cm ridden and tends to 'step' unless ridden forward. She has 3 steady paces and is by no means a fast pony however can put in a buck when she first canters as she hasn't done a lot of canter work. On the lunge she is perfect and respondes very well to verbal instructions and I genuinely believe she would make a cracking driving pony in the right hands.
She is happy to be bathed/clipped and fine with the vet/dentist. Can be fidgety for the farrier but once held is fine.

She's recently been to pony club showjumping and stood all day on the trailer and was fine when the other pony was taken away. She will be attending the Rufford dressage competition on the 26th April for anyone that is going and is interested and wants to see her.

She is such a lovely pony and if she was bigger she wouldn't be going anywhere.
