'Woody' 10yr old 12.2hh liver chestnut gelding. We've had him for 7yrs and taken both my boys from lead rein to riding independently. He's done it all. Pony club rallies, camp, tetrathlon, showjumping, fun rides. He's particularly good as a hunting pony on or off the lead rein. Regularly hunted up on the open moors & in country. He can be a bit cheeky occasionally when ridden independently in a rally/competition & wants company. He's even done a bit of pony racing. Always last as he just can't compete against the 138cm ponies. But always been safe & given sons a lot of fun. Would suit a family who likes riding out. Never sick nor sorry. Live in/out. Barefoot or shod. Good for farrier/clip/catch/traffic. Comes with tack/rugs.
