Benson in Kettering

£4,000

Benson
Very sad sale due to me outgrowing and just not having enough time for him.

Benson is a 15.1hh 9yr old Welsh x tb gelding. I've had him for nearly 5yrs, and I'll be heartbroken to see him go. He thrives off of work and competing. He has competed up to 90cm sj and xc and the odd novice dressage test. He's competed at many riding club events and is always in the ribbons when it comes to the dressage. Before I had him he had done a lot of in hand showing and I can't see why he wouldn't do well with ridden showing. He has some very nice paces, and &: a looker therefore stands out in the ring.

He's perfect to load both on a lorry and trailer, stands for the farrier, vet, dentist, to be clipped & washed. His only vices are that he is grumpy in the stable sometimes; he just pulls faces at you & he does have a tendency to nip/bite every now and then. He's definitely a one person kinda guy. He hacks alone and in company, and will sit wherever he is put. He's definitely got character and is know as the class clown at the yard. Once you get to know him, he is the most sweetest little horse there is.

Due to his stable manners he's not a novice ride, and I'd like him to go to an experienced home as Benson thrives on going out and about competing and needs correct handling due to his stable manners.

He has had a couple injuries from being silly in the field playing with his friends, although despite the injury he's never been lame. He has done a check ligament on his front left and a suspensory ligament on his front right leg. He's had the all clear from the very and is currently coming back into atm. I have all vet reports which can be seen upon request.

He can be sold with tack and a couple of rugs which would be extra on his price. Please message for more info and price. I have plenty photos and videos upon request.
