Pepper is a 4yo welsh C mare. She is 12h so on the shorter side. Green book all breeding recorded.Slightly on the short side. She'll stand tied up on the yard all day, she is up to date with worming. Pepper was lightly backed last year and is starting to do some lunging and quiet rides etc again now, offering her up as I could do with resting some more ground but price will increase with work. Pepper has been sat on by a 3yo and was ridden round the yard. She was impeccably quiet. She has walked and trotted and done a little canter under saddle. Gone out for small hacks and is unphased by any traffic. Happy to follow the horse in front. This mare is real flashy and will make someone an awesome pony. She moves beautifully. Now the negatives is this mare when I chuck her out on nice grass the sassy little git will point blank refuse to be caught back in, currently they go on the good grass for a few hours a day as there's quite alot of it. The down side to this is she will turn her little ginger ass at you, whilst she has never actually kicked out she does threaten. I put this down to the fact thats she is a typical welsh red head mare. So for this reason I don't want her to be with a complete novice. This however is only when I try to put her back on the usual paddock and remove her from the grassier one. Occassionally will pull a face when you give her a bucket feed but in my experience it depends what side of the field she woke up in... Other than this she's a treat to have around. The kids love her and do most of the handling. She travels well. Can come with a bridle and medium weight rug if desired. Read more
