Wizard is a 15hh Welsh cob gelding. He is not a novice due to nothing nasty he has various quirks therefore needs a firm confident person as he can be a wimp at times, darling to ride but can use his size to his advantage in the ground.
My wizard loves his work and have been slowly bringing him back into work.
Sadly i don't have time at present to give him the variety and frequency of exercise that he prefers.
He has always enjoyed being kept busy, and he responds well to steadily working towards new goals. He does sometimes lack confidence and would benefit from an experienced confidant rider.
He is an affectionate and handsome cob, 8 year old, and has been with me just over a year now. Up to date with jabs/dentist/farrier.
Due to my lack of time & health &a confidence issues he has not been there and done it all with me but has shown & hacked out with previous owner but my lack of confidence has held us back and would like to keep together an arrangement which includes progression in his work.
There is a school on site and access to quiet lanes for road hacking but again have not done this myself as it's a goal to aim too. I am looking for a competent, confident and experienced adult rider who would like to do a variety of things with him and who enjoys schooling.
Someone who is responsible, sensible and committed to their days and that I don't get a call from yard owner you haven't showed up. Sorry No under 18's due to contract & responsibilities of the yard. Also will need to be vetted by myself & yard owner. This is a share/part loan for 3 days a week so therefore half of costs too. He lives out in summer and in for winter. I'm happy for more days and future could turn into full loan or possibly more but a BIG if. No daydreamers or time wasters, serious enquiries please as I want the right person for him.
