Good example of an original Victorian Brass and iron bed, unusual 5' width. In original condition complete with folding spring base. Has a couple of things that need doing to make it perfect but does not deter from the original beauty of the bed. The 4 finials on the corners have small splits, some of the enamel has chips and one caster which has been missing since we have had it, sitting in a piece of wood to protect carpet. comes apart into 5 managable parts, top, bottom, two sides and spring base. Restored examples of this type of bed are selling through dealers for up to and even over £1000 so grab a bargain. open to sensible offers
