Original World War 2 German Deutsche Reichsbahn
(German state railway) galvanized carbide railway lamp.

In totally original as found condition,
I have not attempted to clean it up anyway.

It looks to be complete except from a glass piece is missing from the one side side
It does show some wear and has a few dents to the steel (I have tried to show all of this in the photographs)
The back of tank is maker marked 'Osnabrucker Metallwerke - Osnabruck.
The burner inside is in excellent condition and it is also complete with the screw in bottom bowl.

The wooden carry handle is still present and intact.

The lamp stands about 21cm tall and weighs about 1.2kg.

Overall it is in very good condition for being 75 + years old
and is still a good solid world war 2 period railway lamp and a great piece of history !
