You are looking at a old wooden Vintage Coffin Plane by Sheffield (we believe). Was found during a turn out of the shed and now needs a home. Condition, as per pictures though please note that there is a slight crack in the wood (see pictures).


Dimensions (Approx):-

Body:- Length: 19cm, Width (at Widest point): 6.5cm, Body Height: 6.8cm
Small Plane:- Length: 11.4cm, Width: 5cm

Large Plane:- Length: 18.4cm, Width: 5.1cm



Written on the Planes Blade around the engraved head is the following:-

"Registered Trademark"

"Sheffield"

Further down the blade is written:-

"Warranted Steel"

Written on the Planes Wooden Body is the following:-

"Guaranteed British Manufacture"
