I am selling a 5-piece YAMAHA Rydeen U2 Drum Kit (a rare model). I have had it for about 7 years and it is used but I have kept it in excellent condition. All the shells are mark free and the hardware has no rust or damage at all.

I have also fitted BRAND NEW drum heads to all the drums. The individual drums are as follows.

22inch Bass Drum w/ Remo Powerstroke 4 batter head + original YAMAHA resonant head
14inchSnare Drum w/ Remo Ambassador batter head + Remo Ambassador resonant snare head
12inch Rack Tom Drum w/ Remo Pinstripe batter head + Remo Diplomat resonant head
13inch Rack Tom Drum w/ Remo Pinstripe batter head + Remo Diplomat resonant head
16inch Floor Tom Drum w/ Remo Pinstripe batter head + Remo Diplomat resonant head

Also included is all the original hardware which includes a YAMAHA bass drum pedal and beater, YAMAHA hi-hat stand (and clutch) and one YAMAHA cymbal stand. Plus a few bits of drum equipment including an adjustable drum throne, a YAMAHA drum key and a pair of Vic Firth ear protectors and a pair of Vic Firth 5A sticks.

I'm also including the cymbals that I got with kit which are 14inch Planet Z Zildjian hi-hats and a 18inch Planet Z Zildjian Crash/Ride. PLUS I am also including a set of Zildjian ZBT cymbals (not pictured but are in very good condition; used with a few marks on them but no cracks or any damage whatsoever) which are a pair of 14inch Rock Hi-Hats, 16inch Rock Crash and 18inch Rock Crash.

This is an excellent and pretty rare model (the standard Rydeen kit is pretty common but this U2 version isn't as commonly seen) of drum kit that I have used both for practising and in performances. It is an excellent starter drum kit than is also more than capable of being used in performances (especially with the new heads). The drum sizes are all standard rock sizes and the shells are in great condition and sound excellent. The new drumheads I have fitted are also perfect for a number of different genres and styles of playing. Remo drumheads are some of the best on the market. The Ambassador snare head and the Pinstripe heads on the toms are perfect for live performance especially in rock and jazz. The hardware is all in good condition and works very well. The Planet Z cymbals are probably not best used in performances but perfect for practising with. The ZBT cymbals are great for both practising and for performances. They have a very bright sound that can really cut through other sounds.

I am looking for around £450 for all this equipment but would be willing to listen to lower offers. For an entire kit, new heads and lots of cymbals I like to think it's a fair price!
