Pitching & Setting-up
A good-sized front locker with support struts and space for two gas bottles helps make setting up straightforward, easy to manoeuvre on site as a single-axle van.

Living
This Avondale Carlton has a double aspect, with a Lounge at the front and a Dinette at the back.

The Front Lounge has 2 Long Seats that converts into a Double Bed. There is also a Free Standing Table which then turns it into a Dining Area.

Kitchen

The Kitchen is in the middle of the caravan and has a Sink, Hob, Grill, Oven and a 3 Way Fridge / Freezer plus Water heater and blownair central heating.

Washroom
The Washroom has a Shower, Sink and Toilet.

Beds
The Rear Dinette has a Free Standing Table and converts into a Double Bed with a Single Bunk Above.

Storage
The Carlton offers multiple storage options for a large family for clothes, food and holiday equipment.

A large storage locker under the front and rear sofas. Overhead storage, in the shape of lockers with shelves, is provided in abundance too, and there are plenty of cubby holes for smaller items. A modest-sized wardrobe, deep enough for standard coat hangers but not full-length, completes the picture.



All our caravans have been thoroughly checked by our in-house caravan engineer. All appliances are fully working *unless otherwise stated. All caravans are given a full valet inside and out, and are ready to tow away and use.

*If a caravan is required for export then a complete fogging for bugs/pests/insects etc, is carried out prior to transporting to container depot.
A full service folder is supplied with damp test report, accessories check sheet, servicing check sheet. *Vincode security report.

Each caravan that leaves our yard has been fully serviced and tested and is in full working order. When collecting a caravan we ask all buyers to check that this is the case before towing it away and then calling us the next day or the next week to say a bulb is broken or a tap won't turn on. In such circumstances it is the buyer's responsibility to return the caravan so that we have an opportunity to put this right - which we are happy to do 'free of charge' Please do not ask us to drive halfway across the country to replace a bulb. If we do, it will be at the buyer's expense, not ours.

Changes to towing rules

This rule applies to anyone who passed their driving test on or after 1 January 1997. From 15 November, you will be legally allowed to tow trailers up to 3,500kg MAM.

The DVLA will automatically update your driving record, which will then show you are allowed to tow trailers. Category BE will be added to your next new driving licence.

It is important you are aware of the specific weight, as anyone found towing anything heavier than the amount of kilograms allowed, can be fined £1,000, be banned from driving, and get up to six penalty points added to their licence.
