2002 Compass Magnum (Mendip) 524. Good condition, but has a few blemishes expected in a caravan of this age.
BPW chassis, with Alko towhitch and security lock, and Alco under-chassis spare wheel carrier. Motor-mover to assist with parking etc.
Inside, the lounge area comprises two large seats, with storage and locker doors underneath, which can be used as two single beds or converted into a double bed using the pull out slats. There is a handy chest of drawers for storage which can be used as a coffee table, but for mealtimes, the folding table will comfortably seat 4.
The kitchen is well appointed and features a cooker with oven, grill and 4 gas rings. There is ample worktop space for food preparation and lots of storage for crockery and kitchen essentials. A dual-fuel Dometic fridge was installed 2 years ago. There is an Omnivent 2 way fan providing ventilation for the kitchen.
Opposite the kitchen there is a side dinette, with folding table and seating for two, upholstered in the same attractive fabric. The dinette provides additional seating and living space but can be converted into a single bed or 2 bunk beds, by using the lift-out top bunk system. This area can then be separated from the rest of the caravan by using the privacy curtain.
At the rear of the caravan, accessed through a domestic style door, the washroom is spacious and well equipped with a separate large shower unit. There is a wardrobe with shelves and bottom storage area, Thetford cassette toilet, a white sink with hot and cold tap, set into a vanity unit which includes a lift up area for toiletries, a towel cupboard and towel rails.
Heating is provided by the Truma blown air heating system and Truma Ultraheat fire and hot water is supplied to the kitchen and washroom via the 10 litreTruma Ultrastore water heater.
Sun blinds to all windows, fly screens to all windows, roof lights and door.
Also includes: Full size awning with curtains, door security bar/handrail, awning lights, outside electricity point and gas point for BBQ, smoke alarm, carbon monoxide alarm, Sony radio/CD player, intruder alarm, 2 sets of keys
