You are viewing my much loved, silver and blue, Hobby 700 motorhome, which was first registered in 2006. The van sleeps four people in comfort and also has four leather upholstered travel seats.
This is a lot of motorhome for the money, the 700 was a top quality motorhome of its day and remains a luxury classic.
The base vehicle is a Fiat Ducato on an Alko chassis and is powered by the ubiquitous 2.8 JTD diesel engine, with only 28,150 miles registered on the clock. The tag axis layout offer unrivaled comfort and stability on the road and class leading living space within.
On entering the habitation area, via an electric step, the comfortable lounge is to your right, with a central table, an 'L' shaped sofa on the nearside and bench style sofa opposite with swivel driver and passenger seat at the front. All seats are upholstered in cream coloured leather and the 'L' shaped sofa also provides two belted travel seats.
The central section of the living area is given to the kitchen and bathroom facilities, in the kitchen area is a three ring gas cooker and adjacent sink, both with glass lids, and tall '3-way' Dometic fridge with separate freezer, this area also provides numerous storage cupboards. The bathroom includes a Thetford swivel toilet with flush and a spacious shower.
The main sleeping area is to the rear, with twin single beds set over a cavernous garage, which also provides clothes hanging wardrobe space.
The front lounge area also converts to provide an additional double bed if required. The large garage is also accessible from the outside of the vehicle.
Heating and hot water is provided by a Truma boiler, which operates on both gas and electric. The heating system operates via ducted hot air throughout the vehicle.
The Hobby benefits from numerous extras, including a 5m Omnistor awning, a solar panel, an 85cm Oyster satellite dish, an Avtex television in the lounge area, immobiliser and alarm, a reversing camera and 2x13kb gas cylinders.
There are of course a few minor scratches on the vehicle, but no more than any 2006 motorhome, overall the 700 is in good condition.
