INTRODUCTION:



This an excellent opportunity to purchase a very very rare Alfa Romeo 166 3.0 v6 lusso sportronic. There were only 51 of this particular model registered between 2001 and 2003 with only 22 remaining in the UK (10 licensed for road use with a further 12 registered SORN) Finished in stunning silver metallic with contrasting blue lusso alfa embossed leather interior.



First registered to Camden Motors Alfa Romeo in March 2001, it was the dealer principals own personal car for the first three months and seven thousand miles before being sold to a private vendor who has owned it to the current day. The vehicle was recently purchased by us due to the ill health of the current owner, otherwise I do believe he would have never parted with it.



Alfa Romeo's are wonderfully charismatic cars and none more so than any of the beautifully sounding V6 engines.



Due to there very heavy initial depreciation they have always been fantastic purchases second hand and with the modern classic scene very buoyant they currently represent a fantastic buy with values set to steadily rise over the next few years.



SERVICE HISTORY:



As you would imagine with a car that has been enthusiast owned since virtually new this car comes with a huge lever arch folder full of history including all previous mot's, tax renewals, service invoices and bills for many sundries. Worth noting that there was a documented cam belt and water pump change at 76k miles and also evidence of a gearbox service a few years ago. All of the original books including a stamped service book are present, as are both keys.



TEST DRIVE/MECHANICAL CONDITION:



We had a wonderful drive home in this vehicle when we purchased it just before christmas, spending just over an hour travelling from the vendor we had a great opportunity to give it a thorough test drive. It drove absolutely faultlessly.



We will be supplying the car with a fresh MOT including anything necessary to pass the MOT as well as an oil change service.



COSMETIC CONDITION:



A very level, honest car all round. Bodywork in good overall condition, and all panels and both bumpers are free from any dents, scuffs or scratches with the only thing worth noting are a few areas where the lacquer has lifted above the nearside rear passenger door and also some previous paintwork evidenced to the nearside rear passenger door.
