The car has part main dealer service history, I haven't been able to find all of the paperwork, but have most of it.
MOT expires November 2019

In 2016 it malfunctioned due to a timing chain fault (Common fault with this car) and BMW replaced the engine under the Extended Warranty I had in place - I have the paperwork to show this - despite 116,050 miles on the clock, the engine itself has only covered just over 30,000 miles.
It had the alternator replaced the following year by BMW, and then in March of this year had the EGR recall work done by BMW. Paper work to show for all of the above.

Reason for the price is that there is currently a loss of power amber light on the dash and it appears to have gone into limp mode. It may be due to the fact it has not been driven in 6 weeks - the battery may need a recharge; but I'm not a mechanic so I cannot say for sure. I'd probably recommend having the car recovered to be repaired so as not to cause any further damage. Additionally the rear brakes (think it's the rear) need attention. Body work is not perfect, there are scratches and dings on the car - it is 12 years old.

I don't have time to get the work done myself - have a new car and really just want to get rid of this one. Happy to accept offers!
