Excellent example of a Mercedes SL500 future classic. Many ££££ spent over the last 5 years including paint restoration with newer style front grill and rear spoiler added (original grill included), new discs and pads, recent water pump, PSE pump and most recently the problematic air suspension has been replaced with a top of the range coilover conversion from Rebuild Master Tech. Fuel tank baffles replaced, New tyres fitted and MOT till April 2026.
This car is in fantastic condition for age.
Bad bits
Middle toggle switch for electric mirrors doesn't work, needs new control.
Small scratch on rear bumper.
The car drives fantastic with the naturally aspirated V8 putting out just over 300hp and 339 lb-ft torque and a top speed of 155mph.
Fuel consumption ranges from 22-35 mpg depending on type of roads.
