This car has been up for sale for a month now and have had little interest. This is a VERY RARE car as there are only 24 in the UK with this engine. It is the same engine that is in a version of the Nissan skyline and the Nissan Z350. The insides have been removed and restored to the best of my ability. The Alloys have also been restored to the best of my ability. It has a good set of tyres on the Alloys and a good tyre on the spare. The exhaust is solid and i have fitted a custom back box. There is little rust on or under the car. Brakes are all good and i have replaced a lot of the joints and mountings under the wheel arch. The headlights have been restored all yellow fading removed.
In the engine bay i have replaced the battery and re wired the fuse box. Have replaced the air filter with a custom induction kit. Pollen filter has been replaced. Engine and gearbox oil has been refreshed as well as the coolant, power steering and brake fluids. There are no leaks what so ever it is a very solid engine.
Inside i have given the dashboard, centre console and door cards a face-lift. The seats and carpets have been removed and Jet washed. It looks very clean and has no nasty smells inside. I have also upgraded the car entertainment system by replacing all the door speakers, adding 2 extra tweeters in the roof at the back and have put in a hidden Sub-woofer in one of the rear side walls.
I have had this car previously advertised for £2700 which was a reasonable price however there are a few things that let this car down so i have reduced the price by £900 as i need to sell it.
There is a crack on the front windscreen, the headlamp washer covers are missing. The bodywork needs some attention as the rear bumper has been butchered(not by me), the drivers side sill has a large dent in it(passed MOT with this tho) and there are other scuffs and blemishes.
The car drives very well but sometimes when it gets warm the engine throttles itself back. My Renault diagnostic clip says it is to do with one of the Pre-cat O2 sensors. Also it says the drivers airbag is open circuit this i think is something to do with the ribbon cable that links the airbag to the steering column.
I have put a lot of time, effort, blood sweat and tears into this car so please don't insult me by sending silly offers, i might reduce the price a little depending on interest and need to sell but it is priced very well for its condition, is probably worth more for spares!
