1999 Peugeot 306 Meridian 1.9tdi in Retford

Peugeot 306 Meridian, first registered in 20-05-1999, 1.9tdi engine. Silver in colour with contrasting half leather interior the car is in good overall condition, it starts first time hot or cold and in any weather. Of course at 20 years old there are a few minor blemishes all of which are shown in the photographs. The car has covered around 143000 miles and the cambelt was replaced at 102000 miles. The car is MOT'd until the 20th of September 2019 and passed the last test with no advisories. The car has had a recent oil and filter change and four new glow plugs. The tyres have plenty of tread and the alloy wheels show only minor scuffing. The car is supplied with two keys and working remotes plus an additional key with no remote. It has an excellent provenance supported by lots of paperwork.
This was the last year of production for the traditional diesel engine without all the later complex electronics and is the engine that earned Peugeot its enviable reputation for reliability. The car is very economical and averages about 100 miles for each £10 of fuel.

First registered in 1999 and subsequently taken to France in 2007 by the first owner and registered
there. Two years later they acquired a lhd car and the Peugeot was sold to a friend of who is also a good friend of mine. It was then used at his holiday home in France for the next 9 years. In 2018 the holiday home was sold and I bought the car from my friend. On arriving in the uk I decided to register it back in the UK system. The car was subsequently granted its original registration number and was MOT'd, requiring only new wiper blades, with no other advisories. The tester commented on how clean the car was underneath, presumably because of spending 11 years in a warm climate. I have the service book from the early years and numerous invoices since then, together with a comprehensive pile of documents covering the export and re-importation of the vehicle.

These cars produced at the end of the twentieth century are now becoming of interest to collectors and would be ideal everyday transport for an enthusiast with a nod to future collectability. If I had the space I would be happy to keep this car, unfortunately I don't so it must be sold.

Collection from Retford, Nottinghamshire or I could possibly help with delivery but please inquire first.
