Description:
This is a rare MGC Automatic Roadster registered in 1968. If you want a great classic touring car this is the one to have. With a 3.0 litre straight 6 petrol engine and high gearing producing a top speed of around 120 miles per hour this is arguably the best to have. Although at it's launch was not a huge success it is now considered that a good MGC is on a par with a Big Healey and notably superior to that rustic icon in some departments. This model has appreciated considerably over the years and can now cost double the price of an aged MGB. This car was restored in the early 90's and although still very sound with good paintwork it was decided to remove numerous transfers that had been applied by over zealous owners over the years and liven up the aging red finish to provide it's original 'twinkle'. Photo's were taken to provide a comprehensive record. This model was only produced for two years from 1968 to 1970 hence it's rarity.
