Pleased to offer a very affordable Austin Seven Ruby from 1936, it's all running and operating as intended with good brakes and handbrake, working lights, wiper and horn, it starts readily and runs and drives really well (as seen in our video) roll back sunroof, open the tilting screen and enjoy some summer motoring.

The car has massive amounts of charm, you can't drive it without a grin on your face, a smile every mile guaranteed. Everything is very well greased up, the brake cables and adjusters are all moving freely, no untoward bangs, clang's or rattles as you move along, gears select easily with a good clutch, it does not jump out of first gear, 4 speed gearbox and it has great oil pressure not only at start up but after a run. We have the current modern logbook and the car benefits from free "Historic" road tax and is MOT exempt, all the fluids have been checked for level and contamination with no issues found.

It presents well and will be admired wherever you go, paint finish is as expected for one of these pre-war cars, it's not immaculate and close inspection will find minor imperfections as with any 80+ year old car, again see the walk round video. The interior is all complete and free from any major wear, driver's seat is on an adjustable sliding base which makes driving as lot easier and it's running a matching set of very good road tyres all free from age cracks.

Sadly, we have no history with the car, just the current logbook, it has modern indictors fitted and modern rear lights which are much more visible than the dim originals, drivers side indicator needs fiddling with, other side works fine, it's an honest car not a fully restored, better than new, show winner and is priced accordingly.

Have some fun with your savings, you bank manager isn't doing you any favours with your boring ISA, tick the box off your bucket list and own a vintage car, won't be worth any less when you've had your enjoyment, these cars are currently excellent value for money.

Local delivery within 20 miles of Carlisle is normally for free, further afield we can deliver to most of the UK for £1 per road mile from Carlisle (it will not be delivered by crow), highlands, islands and outlying areas please check with us first.

All viewings are exclusively by timed APPOINTMENT ONLY, we do not have a showroom or display area, items may have to be brought from our secure storage to view and advance notice will be required.
