If your car is fitted with sensor valves, we at Hometyre Sussex can service them, repair or replace them. These valves are fitted with sealed batteries that cannot be replaced, so once the battery fails the whole unit must be replaced. In this case we install an isensor and we clone the data off the old valve, so that your cars computer doesn't even know it's been changed. We can service or repair some valves replacing the stems and sealing parts.
Since 2014 sensor valves became part of the MOT check, and they must work otherwise your car will fail its MOT.
Some main dealers charge up to £200 per sensor for a replacement part, we charge £85. For more info check our website or give us a call.
