Rare US import far better than uk model. If your looking for an air cooled twin to chop, make into a cafe racer, street scrambler, flat tracker or brat, then these are the bikes. These are totally under rated. Far faster than XS 650s, far more reliable than any triumph. They have a smart looking engine with bags and bags of torque. This one has megaphones and sounds ripper. Pulls so well in every gear. Not sure on top speed as the yank speedo only goes to 85. It reaches this quickly and the needle bounces about on the top end of speedo no problem. It has some good looking mag wheels so no worries about keeping rust from the chrome rims and spokes. Excellent huge drum brake on the back and a single disc on the front. The tyres are legal but probably very old cheap ones for American roads !so let's say challenging on wet uk roads. The Ltd models have nice little side panels not those weird shaped ones on the uk model. The paint work is ok not brill but passable if you want to keep original and ride as is. This is what I did for the last two years. I got it as I wanted to build a parallel twin chopper, but it was so much fun and looked so 70s that I just enjoyed it . I have another bike more suitable for my old school chop ideas so reluctantly the Z has to go to fund this next project. Mileage would seem to be correct it comes with lots of old mot certs to show that she has only done 21,000. This may go up thou as I occasionally use to get to work if it's not rained. Please remember this is A unrestored old classic bike, so a little tlc is needed if you are that way inclined. however these things where over engineered, it has a large oil capacity ( oil and filter changed at20K) there is a small cut in the seat and sometimes oil leaks from the rev counter cable. It will come with 12 months mot. The Kawasaki service manual comes with it. One of its coolest features is that it has a kick start but if you ain't had two eggs for breakfast you can use the starter which still works on this one (a common fault apparently but not an issue I have had )
