Hand reared and ringed Derbyan parrot 4 years old named Porky (he loves his food), hand tame and will follow you around the house, he lives outside his cage and goes in his cage at night, it would be advisable to pop him in his cage if your out for longer periods as our stair bannister and kitchen door found out lol, he will happily sit with you on the sofa and help his self off your dinner plate if allowed to, he does talk and say quite alot of things, he does pick up words and phrases really well and comes out with things that supprise you, yes he does occasionally swear, however he did this quite alot when we got him but it now doesn't happen very often now and it's usually when he's chatting to himself, he's a lovely chap but he does need attention, he's definitely not a bird that will want to stay in his cage all day. It's a heart breaking decision to let him go due to health reasons and change of circumstances. He will come with his cage, a large java wood stand, toys absolutely everything you'll need, even a pile of newspapers for his cage if wanted, please be aware that parrots need alot of affection and attention, think of them as a 3 year old child and you won't go far wrong.
