Description:

1 boy still available. £200 each. Price includes a new carrier, enough wet and dry food to transition them over to your food preference, enough litter to fill a tray and a blanket that they've been sleeping on.

Born 5/1/21 Fully weaned naturally by mum. Well socialised as we are a multicat home and have a dog and children. They are eating well, mainly wet food and free access to dry food. They are wormed and don't have fleas. Being older kittens they are fully independent and won't need multiple feeds throughout the day or toileting supervision that younger 8 week old kittens constantly require. Kittens younger than 12 weeks still need to be given multiple feeds in the day and are only just starting to use the litter tray independently at 8 weeks old. Kittens are not fully ready to leave mum until 12 weeks old, they will survive when younger but won't thrive without a mother replacement.

The kittens are used to using open, covered and litter robot trays with a variety of litter types, wood pellets, World's Best and CatSan Hygiene so they recognise different litter types and won't pee in inappropriate places if your usual litter is unavailable.

They are currently eating mainly wet food, Lily's Kitchen trays, Wild Freedom tins, Sainsbury's and Tesco meaty chunks pouches in gravy and jelly. They are used to eating a wide variety of textures and flavours. They have free access to Crave and Thrive complete dry foods which they snack on.

They have been well handled and taught to allow their claws to be trimmed, ears, mouth and teeth to be inspected. They are regularly groomed. They have free access to cat carriers and love sleeping in them so see them as safe spaces which will help with travel stress and vet trips.

Three generations can be seen. Grandmother is a short-haired Norwegian Forest Cat x Domestic Short Hair. She has a fantastic friendly temperament and is very sociable and cuddly. She is very gentle and adores kittens and often babysits.

Grandfather is a Turkish Van x Domestic Short Hair. He has the Turkish Van build, coat, temperament and personality traits. Highly intelligent, has been taught a variety of tricks. He is chatty and very much a water cat.

Mother is a medium hair satin coat with a long fluffy plume for a tail. Her coat is extremely fine, soft and exceptionally shiny. Heavy cobby build like her father. Very cuddly, like a teddy bear.

Father is a short hair Havana x Domestic Short Hair. He has the oriental fine tall long legged build, fine coat and is very vocal. He is affectionate and likes to play and snooze with his kittens. He will hold a conversation with anyone who will talk to him.

SOLD Girl B is a white with black spots sociable affectionate kitten. She has taken after her father in build and coat with a longer flat laying silky double coat. She loves being picked up and cuddled and has a lovely purr. She is a climber and is often found snoozing high up on the curtain rails or up on top of the bookcase. She also likes paddling in the water bowl. Very gentle and highly intelligent she comes to call. She is also very energetic, a fast runner and strong jumper.

AVAILABLE Boy kitten is like a clone of his grandfather. He is a cobby build with a very dense silky soft velvety coat. He's very chatty, oozes charisma and is highly intelligent. He does enjoy playing in and with water and I wouldn't be surprised if he turns out to be as big a water cat as his grandfather. When he wants my attention he will gently pat me with a paw and trill and chirrup until I stop what I am doing and pay him attention. He has to know where everyone is and what they are doing at all times. He also likes watching cartoons and David Attenborough documentaries which he snuggles up to watch with his sister Girl B who also is a huge telly addict. He is very cuddly and can't snuggle up close enough. He is the most affectionate of the kittens, purrs very loudly and writhes around on his back while kneading with his paws to demand a tummy rub or if you speak to him. He is not a big fan of climbing but does like to sleep up high if it's an easy jump.

The kittens will not be going first come first served so there is no need to feel rushed. Please message me in the first instance telling me about the home you are offering and what you are looking for in a cat and I can let you know which are most likely to suit and tell you a bit more about their characters. Some of my kittens have been more suited to being house cats, some outdoor cats, some lap cats and some only see their human slave as only of use as provider of food and general cleaner/dogsbody. It is very important to pick a kitten with a temperament that will fit in with you.

I do not take deposits at all, I can reserve kittens while you get to know them and decide if you are happy with your choice or not. There is no hurry or obligation to buy and if you decide the kitten is not for you then the next on the list can make their choice.

Unfortunately I am unable to let you inside to hold the kittens at the moment. I held off advertising them in the hope that I would have had my vaccinations and that the covid situation would have improved. However I had an allergic reaction to my first vaccine so am only partially protected and am continuing shielding. The kittens and their parents, grandparents and aunt can all be viewed through the living room window. You are welcome to view them as many times as you feel necessary without any obligation to buy.
