This is Chapo. He is nearly 4 years old and we've had him since he was 3 months old. He's grown up in a house with kids but I want to rehome him to someone who has no children as he isn't cuddly with kids and wants his personal space. He tends to be more drawn to adults. Chapo is reactive towards people and dogs but once he is introduced to a person in the proper way, after about 10 minutes he would be playful and friendly. He also lives with a female dog. He's previously had training for obedience and to help his reactivity and aggression. He was doing really well and became less reactive but my partner started working full time and so hasn't been able to continue his training. Chapo has now gone back to being reactive again, especially if I'm walking him, however with my partner he's fine. His obedience is still really good, the main issue is how reactive he is. The reason I'm rehoming him is because with my partner working full time, I'm struggling to walk him as he is too strong and I'm unable to hold him back.

I would like for him to go to someone that will have the time to continue his training and who understands Chapos behaviour.

I would also like for him to go to someone who will be strong enough to handle him.

If you are interested in meeting Chapo, my partner can arrange a few times for you to meet him and go over the training process that has been passed on by professional trainers. During this time, Chapo could get used to you.

If it is a case where you are interested in Chapo but don't have the time to take him out to train him but you do have a secured garden, that will be fine as he will still be outside and have freedom. We currently live in a flat so he hasn't got that opportunity unless we take him for a walk on the lead
