*** Cava Tzu Puppies ***
Bringing together the sweet-natured Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and the headstrong Shih Tzu (Little Lion Dog) for an easy-going dog that gets along with children, other pets and even strangers.
Mum is a pedigree Shih Tzu and dad is a KC registered pedigree cavalier King Charles spaniel.
A little girl still available!
She is the one in the main picture and can be seen in other pictures cuddling up with our cat.
She is ready now.
All the puppies are very healthy having been vet health checked, and had their first vaccination, identichip and are up to date with worming and fleaing.
Mum and dad are our family pets so live in the house and can be seen.
Cava Tzus seldom barks making them a less than ideal watchdog but love cuddling and hanging out with their family yet doesn't suffer from separation anxiety and are okay being left on their own for shot periods. They are highly agile, love to jump, play, then snooze.

The Cava Tzu is a quick study when it comes to training. They come from two intelligent breeds and their eager-to-please personality makes them ready and willing to obey commands and take direction.

*** Origin ***
Both parent breeds were royal favorites with the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel dating back to 17th century England and the Shih Tzu being traced to Tibet in the 800's. Today's Cava Tzu likely dates back just 30 years to when people first began crossing pure-bred dogs to create Designer Dogs. These dogs are typically bred to produce pups with desirable traits such as gentler personalities and hypo-allergenic qualities. All without the health issues that sometimes effect their parent breeds.
