Older dog wanted as buddy for my dog in Plymouth

My dog is not at all aggressive but he does sulk around boisterous dogs, so I am looking to take on an older medium to small dog. He/she would have lots of cuddles and access to a large park and a wooded area, as well as my garden. Must be ok with cats. Thanks :)
