Rescue Dog, Affectionate, Long Haired in Chichester

Skye is a stunning affectionate rescue Romanian Caucasian mountain dog mix in need of a loving forever home. Experience with large dogs required.

We have had her for just over a year, she currently lives with another male Romanian Caucasian rescue. No issues at home with our other dog but is reactive to other dogs she doesn't know. She is friendly and playful with neighbour's dogs she does know.

Would need a home with another dog that can match her stamina and boisterous play or will need regular interaction with another dog to play with for her mental stimulation. She is very strong so only my partner can walk her now.

Very affectionate and playful with us. Beautiful long-haired soft coat, very long fluffy tail, soft fur mix of silvers, greys, fawn and white, approx 4 to 6 years. In prime condition, no health issues.

Does not pull on walks, only if reacting to other dogs or if she hears a bang in local fields which makes her nervous. Prefers walking off narrow paths, prefers open spaces as passing dogs in proximity is an issue but she recovers quickly after dogs have passed. Getting better with reactivity though and responds well to training.

She needs a bigger garden. Please text me and I can give lots more info and send photos. She is very strong. Sits and gives paw. Intelligent. Quiet dog rarely barks at home but will bark when in car seeing other dogs.

Would benefit from a home with other dogs. We are growing our family and due to her strength, she could easily knock over a young child hence the need to rehome her. Need a loving home with plenty of outside space for play.

Not good with cats or young children due to her size. Size of a husky and looks like a husky sheepdog cross with a very long-haired fluffy tail.

Price is a donation that goes back to the rescue charity that saved her & is negotiable to the right home.
