Handsome, friendly, Cockador for sale. in Newcastle Upon Tyne

Hi... it is with a heavy heart that we are advertising our 8-month old Cockador, Hudson, for sale.
We have had him since he was tiny, and he has been trained to sit, stay and wait until you say "good boy" before he will eat his food... we found it really helped keep some order at meal-times.
He's a playful and friendly boy, with seemingly boundless energy and a love of contact. He has the most incredible temperament.
He loves the beach and his recall is, mostly, brilliant; even when faced with the opportunity of meeting new people and dogs, on walks!
He still pulls on the lead, but he's incredible intelligent and is steadily being trained out of that.
He's amazing with children, and has grown up with two cats and a hamster, none of whom has he ever posed any threat to, other than being a bit too eager to be friends, at times.
He is well handled and doesn't bite hands or feet, even when excited. We trained that out of him very early.

So, if he's so perfect, why are we rehoming him?
When we fell in love with Hudson, we had no idea that two of our three children had quite bad allergies to dog hair/saliva. We have tried distancing, extra cleaning, antihistamines, air purifiers and creams, etc... in fact, it has become quite debilitating, just trying to protect the kids from their reactions. Both of the children are ASD, and both love him as much as we do, but, their health is declining, which is causing extreme stress in the home.
We can't have him and them in the same car as each other, which means that family trips out are now virtually nonexistent.

We have tried everything we possibly can, to avoid this, so please don't get in touch with vitriol about how we shouldn't have taken him on, or that we shouldn't be rehoming him. If that is your opinion, I respect it, but I just insist that you respect our predicament and accept that you may not have full visibility of everyone's circumstances, so best keep that to yourself.

On a nicer note. Hudson is a family dog. He's the size of a Cocker and looks like a Lab, with slightly bigger ears.
He's happy and desperate to please. He's easy to train, quick to learn and loves his people. If you think you might be them, feel free to drop us a message. He's not a barker, he doesn't whine, and he is perfectly house-trained. He will let you know when he needs the toilet, by just pestering you a little more than usual.

He's chipped, vaccinated, flead and wormed. He comes with food, a high-end foldable pen, and flea and worm treatment for the year!

We are near Great Park in Newcastle Upon Tyne, and really look forward to being able to introduce you to your next family member, and him to his forever family.
