Chase

German Shepard / malinois in Swansea

£200

This is our boy Chase. It has been such a difficult decision but we have no choice to rehome Chase due to the time and commitment he needs in order for him to be an amazing dog to the right person.

Chase needs lots of space therefore someone with enclosed land he would absolutely love as he enjoys being outdoors. He does also love a cuddle on the sofa and loves interaction.

Chase is a very intelligent dog and learns quickly... he will sit, wait, paw and understands key words and has good recall. He is also house trained.

Chase sleeps at night in a crate which he has since a puppy this helps him to settle at night.

Although Chase will make thee most amazing dog for someone he does have needs which his next owner would need to be fully committed and understanding too. We rehomed Chase when he was 9 months old and was not told any of the issues which we now know need to be addressed.

Chase can be difficult on a lead and will pull. He is unpredictable with people he doesn't know and will bark and look very aggressive.

Chase has shown his teeth when he thinks someone is going to take his food and has lunged and snapped. We had no idea what we were taking on in this respect and the longer Chase is with us the more difficult his behaviour is to manage.

Chase needs a home where he is loved, time committed to him, someone confident to manage him. He currently lives in a house with a cat and 2 dogs which he is lovely and gentle with. Chase has also been around lots of children and there have been no issues however due to Chase being unpredictable we will not allow him to be rehomed with children.

We have Chase's best interest at heart and will vet each applicant and their suitability for Chase. Please do not be offended if we say no it's just the match needs to be right for our boy who we will be heartbroken to have to let go.
