Citrus red leather back bearded dragon
Hes around 6 months old so still juvenile and not fully developed.
Not missing any fingers or body parts and shedding very well
Hes an awesome character with a big personality hes got big long legs so stands real tall when he wants to, the pet shop assistant said hes one of the biggest shes ever seen and he was big when hatched so will be a
big beardy when 18 months old. Hes from northampton reptile centre one of the best known reptile shops in the uk.
He will come with a 4ft long 2ft wide 2 ft height vivarium , ballast , uv bulb , uv reflector , heat bulb and fittings , lump of wood , rock bed , water bowl and food bowl , i will also supply some food to get you going.
Hes a very unique litrus red leather back with very good markings and been an absolute pleasure to own. Hes been hand reared since the day i got him and handled every day and he loves to come out and just explore hes also a great climber he will be up the curtains before you know it if unsupervised.
Only reason for sale is i dont have enough time for him, i have another bearded dragon who is older and i only have time for one so the new one has to go.
He can be viewed any time once arranged
Im happy for you to come round and spend some time with him and handle him see if hes for you.
I jumped into buying this pet without a second thought which is silly of me, i dont want anyone to make the same mistake so please only good honest homes for this reptile
Beardy basics and what is required
2 x feeds a day morning feed and evening feed
Fresh water daily
Fresh salad and veg daily
1 x bath weekly (15mins paddle and splash is all)
Vivarium clean 1 x fortnightly (beardys dont urinate so they are quite clean animals)
Calcium powder + d3 every 2 days or everyday to be safe ( you can sprinkle this on the salad or dip wax worms in it which are easy ways to feed your reptile calcium)
Costs of keeping a beardy
£6-£10 a week in live food (they eat less live as they age)
£2-£5 a week in salad and veg
Uv bulb every 6 months or 12 months if you buy a more powerful one £15-£40
Heat bulbs blow all the time sometimes can last 6 months or last 6 days they are £5 just make sure you always have a spare at hand incase it ever goes.
Calcium powder lasts couple months £4-£8 depending on brand.
Due to him being such a character his name is rambo
Ive gone to town on the description as i want the best for this little guy, this is a great opportunity for a starter reptile pet as the hardest part in owning a beardy is its first few months getting them hand reared and making sure they dont loose any fingers etc, hes ready to go to his forever loving home with all his bits i paid £550 5 months ago so its a bargain set up any further questions please get in touch
