DJ's Puppies

Mum & Dad
Mamma DJ is our beloved and frankly quite spoilt, family pet. We homed her from a family who no longer had the room/time for her when she was 11 months old. She turned 3 years old 4 days after having this first and only litter and we couldn't be more proud of our girl. DJ is a very affectionate and well socialised full Great Dane. She is all black with beautiful amber eyes and muscular build. She is healthy and active as she enjoys her walks with our other dog, a typical Lurcher. In the house, she enjoys cuddles (or the classic 'Great Dane lean') and spending time with our cat or rabbit. She is a typical gentle giant and complete love bug. She is our world.

The Dad is a KC registered solid blue, full Great Dane who is 2 years old. He is a proven stud and this would be his 3rd healthy litter. His owner is a lovely lady who has bred Danes in the past and keeps horses. By her admission, Bruno is much the same as DJ in terms of temperament and is a well loved and involved member of her family.

Puppies
These two incredibly beautiful and magnificent dogs gave us six happy and healthy babies whelped on 19.11.21

Top tips and tricks to owning a Great Dane

They will be raised in our household with their mother until they are at least 8 weeks old. They will be potty trained from 3 weeks so are likely to have mastered it by 'forever home time'. The puppies will be well socialised with other animals and comfortable with handling (such as baths and nail clipping) and common noises.

Please note: we do not remove dewclaws (this is your choice)

Puppies will be ready to leave for their forever homes after 14th January 2022.
We have available:

1 x blue girl £1,750 (purple collar)

Mum is doing brilliantly and all pups are thriving and gaining weight daily.

Puppies are priced between £1,500 - £1,750 each with a 20% (£300-350) non-refundable deposit to reserve yourself a new puppy. Full payment is then expected on 'forever home' day. Receipts will be provided.

We are happy to receive anyone who would like to see the puppies with DJ in our home before making a decision. Visits thereafter to bond with your pup before the big day are also welcome. If you are too far to travel or would prefer to video call, I would be happy to do this too.

A contract of sorts will be provided by us for piece of mind for both parties and our signatures will be needed if you choose to home one of our puppies.

Afterwards
If possible, we would very much like updates on how the puppies are getting on in their new homes as we are in love with Danes and it would make us happy to know we provided them with a loving home.
We are always on hand for you to contact if any help or advice is needed.
You are expected to take care of your puppies health at your own veterinary practice for the longevity of their lives.
You are (at the very least) expected to provide the fundamentals for your puppy to live the happy life of a dog including:
food
warm shelter
walks
LOVE

If you find that after ANY AMOUNT of time the puppy (or dog) is not right for you, we STRONGLY urge that you contact us and we will take them back. Please do not rehome them yourself or surrender them to a shelter. We are more than happy to take them on as our responsibility. It is of paramount importance to us that the puppies we have have brought into the world are happy and loved. If you cannot do this for reasons such as:
change in circumstances (ie house move, new job etc)
experience 'hardships' with your puppy/dog (ie behavioural/training issues, cost to maintain your dog etc)
please contact us... no judgement here!
