Saluki grayhound in Plymouth

I have a saluki greyhound and she's about over a year old, my husband bought her thinking he had time to do things with her and he hasn't with working, she's fine with people once she gets used to you but cannot go with other pets or children, she comes across as aggressive when meeting anyone.
