Frankie

Grey Staffordshire bull terrier- Frankie in Littlehampton

£50

My partner and I are extremely sad to say we will be looking at rehoming our beautiful boy Frank through no fault of his own. We have had a little come along and unfortunately we find it harder to spread your time between our daughter and Frankie. We don't have a big garden and feel he needs a home that can take him for long walks, have a nice sized garden etc for him to really be himself.

Frankie is crate trained and has no issues with being at home on his own.
He is great with people and children especially our 5 month old baby whom he adores.

Frankie is very anxious around other dogs but this is not breed or gender specific. He has been attacked twice before and has a scar inside his ear and I think he related the past pain and aggravation with other dogs hence why he can act aggressive at times towards other dogs. We saw a behaviour specialist and when she asked us to drop the lead when Frankie was showing this aggression he suddenly froze and didn't know what to do as he was no longer restrained and she deducted that he was anxious/scared.

Frankie responds well to training, he's is in a crate over night, can sit, lay, roll, high five, sing, shout etc and he is honestly such a loyal and loving boy.

We will be very selective as to who he goes too.

A few additional bits about him
He does pull on a lead but I feel with consistent training this can be rectified, when on his harness it does help alot so I tend to just use that when on walks,
He has a skin allergy but is on tablets for this which keep it at bay, and he is on anxiety medication which he has one a day at breakfast. He's allergic to grain so we just feed him grain free food, he is raw fed and has a top up of grain free biscuits.
He's great with kids, and people and if/when needed can be left alone without any issues what so ever. He doesn't chew furniture etc the only thing he does like is slippers so keep them hidden
