£50 deposit required to reserve and avoid time wasters. Bees not shown in photo, they will be transferred from the poly nuc the night before collection.

A truly beautiful locally open mated overwintered 2020 Buckfast queen heads this calm, prolific, hardworking colony. The queen was open mated and is from a Mother from a reputable UK breeder. They are used to our temperamental English weather and work well on cold days as well as hot days.

They come in a brand new correx travel box ready to transfer into a hive. Supplied on 5 DN4 frames on wired foundation and will have a good mix of eggs, larvae, capped brood and stores to last a minimum of 2 weeks.

I will have treated them with VarroMed twice before collection, this is an organic Varroa mite treatment and will ensure they have minimal mites for you to begin your beekeeping adventure.

They will be inspected before collection to ensure all is well and you get no hidden surprises like swarm cells or supersedure cells!! The Queen can be caged if required so you will be able to check her out on installation.

You are welcome to come and look at the colony prior to purchase/collection to make sure you are happy with it.
