High quality 5 frame, 14x12 'size' nucleus of gentle and productive buckfast bees from an instrumentally inseminated VSH queen purchased from the well-renowned Northumberland Honey Bees. Exceptional genetic lines.

We've tried many different suppliers over the years and these are without doubt our favourites due to their calm nature and great honey yields. As a family of gardeners with a hyperactive spaniel that zooms around the garden all day, bees with great temperaments are essential for us! Recommended for beginners and those who'd like a more relaxing beekeeping experience. We believe that it's likely that these nucs are some of the highest quality available for the price.

PLEASE NOTE: 14x12 is the larger frame type for national hives, they will only fit a 14x12 national brood box.

COLLECTION ONLY: This nuc is for collection only as this is kindest to the bees, this also ensures that they arrive to their new home safely. We are based near Launceston, Cornwall. They will be supplied in a returnable correx travel box, return is easy and is only around £4 via DPD.
