Timor shield mantis older nymphs in Burgess Hill

£8

These are a stunning, sweet mantis. Older nymphs are now feeding on small/ medium locusts.

Note, the last photo is of my adult female.

Some care advice:

Enclosure: Acyclic or glass with plenty of ventilation, nets are not able to create a good humidity environment which is needed for this species. If your enclosure has metal mesh on the ceiling you can attach some material mesh on top of it to prevent its feet being worn by the metal.

Temp: Between 24-27 during the day then can drop to 22 at night.
Humdity: Between 60-80 percent. Mist enclosure down daily to increase humidity or provide hydration.

Diet: livefeed must be captive bred , anything taken from the wild will likely cause disease! I feed mine on small medium to medium locust. They can also be fed blue bottle flies as well( again captive bred ones).

Substrate: You can keep.it simple and pit kitchen roll down, or have some soil in therr , reptile soil or peat( as long as its chemical pesticide free!!)
Or have a bioactive enclosure with clean up crew, soil and drainage layer.

Enclosure is not included with the mantis.

If posted please note there will be an extra charge of 7 pounds so it gets there safely.

However if you are around west sussex , burgess hill , crawly , lancing , worthing or shoreham you are welcome to collect.

As with any live animal or pet please do your research.

Any questions let me know, I'll be happy to answer
