We have for sale 6 exhibition quality buff Orpington hatching eggs.

Our hens must be very happy as they have started laying early this year.

These are large fowl and excellent birds. I have spent the last 5 years breeding these birds trying to get them to conform to breed standards.

The buff Orpington is a very docile, friendly hen. They are great with children and first time chicken owners.

We feed our hens the best possible feed and they all free range during the winter and are put into large open breeding pens once they start laying.

Fertility was excellent last year and the cockerel has been seen treading the hens so fertility is expected to be good. I cracked an egg 13/01/25 and added a photo of the bullseye indicating the eggs are fertile.

We only post out Monday-Thursday to avoid our eggs getting stuck in the post over the weekend. We send our eggs via RoyalMail 24 Tracked to mainland UK. Please get in touch prior to purchase if you are needing delivery else where.

All our package material is biodegradable.

We have had excellent fertility ourselves but can't be held responsible once eggs have passed through the postal system. Read more
