These girls were shipped as eggs all the way from Austria! We ordered pure breed Austrian Sulmtaler from a breeder to add to our existing rare breed flock here, and when they hatched we were surprised by these adorable little ginger girls!!

(Please note: Last 2 photos are of our existing pure breed Sulmtaler girls, just to show example of the head crest. - I can't estimate how big the head crest will become on these girls).

We absolutely love them, but they are not what we ordered and we simply cannot keep them with our pure breed flock, so we'd like to find them a new loving forever home. These girls will grow into very special looking adults, (they are already showing the Sulmtaler head quiff!).

They have very sweet, gentle nature and nice and tame, easy to pick up.

Sulmtaler are an autosexing breed, (males with black feathers), so these girls carry some interesting genetics and will be very interesting to breed from. They were hatched from pink coloured eggs, and with the genetics will lay pink coloured eggs.

They hatched 20th June, now feathered out and enjoying free range life outside. If you enjoy having interesting birds, these will certainly be an interesting addition to any flock!


(NB: Unfortunately for those of you who have been waiting for our pure breed Sulmtalers this year, due to this supplier error we will not have any available until next year, as we will have to re-ship some more eggs over internationally).
