But you do need to bring your own box to take chicks home in, something small like a coffee pod box

Chicks are raised in my living room in a specially adapted vivarium, so are very friendly and used to being handled.

Please ensure you have an appropriate heat source, chick crumb and brooder prior to purchasing chicks. Also chicks don't stay small and fluffy forever, you will need to provide them with a predator proof coop and run. Chickens make excellent pets and are relatively easy to look after, most important thing is to keep them clean and feed quality food.
