The Original Intensive Training Day Blocks.

Usually held on a Thursday, Saturday or Sunday, we generally run these in blocks of 8 x one day per week.
Multiple day per week options can be discussed on request*.
ITDs are a wonderful alternative to full residential training for dogs over approximately 6 months of age*. For young dogs, we recommend half days for a longer block of weeks.

Your dogs training days will be a mix of those spent at our training ground in Kingshill near Great Missenden (Buckinghamshire) practicing things like recall, obedience, neutrality and manners around other dogs in a controllable, fenced environment as well as days spent going out and about in public to parks, local villages and towns to work on obedience and confidence out in the 'real world' where it is most important that your dogs training really holds up.
Exactly what your dogs training days look like will depend on what your goals are.

Times, number of weeks and number of days per week can be discussed.
Weekly handover training is provided to you, the owner with a full handover at the end of your dogs' block of training days to ensure you can maintain the work we have done.

*Please note, whilst we welcome reactive dogs, our ITDs are not suitable for true aggression cases or serious resource guarders.

We ask that you be aware that whilst we include safe socialisation in our syllabus, we do so because a good family pet is one that can handle being around other dogs without losing its mind and becoming over-aroused or becoming reactive. We are NOT a doggy day care and socialisation is just a small part of a much bigger picture.

*Please note - length of day, days per week and earliest age for which ITDs are suitable will all vary to some degree from one dog to another. As will all aspects of training, we strongly feel that each dog should be approached as an individual and treated accordingly.
