With deep sadness, we are having to rehome our rabbits.
We are looking for a responsible new owner for them to give them a really good life and fulfil all their needs. We are aware of the dangers and risks that come with rehoming our pets which has made us to come to a decision to put some terms and conditions in place to those interested. If you can apply to all these, you may message me and we can go ahead with the process.
1. You must show what sort of environment the pets will be in. For example how much space they will have and what sort of room they will have
2. These are indoor rabbits and must be kept indoors at most times. If they are let out, they must be supervised and cared for as they are prey animals and outdoors can be a big risk to them. They should never be let to live outside in a hutch.
3. They must never be living in a cage or hutch for any amount of time. They should follow the recommendations of 3 metres by 2 metres or more. We may be able to provide a pen which the pets can stay in with enrichment as their space however advised for them to be let out sometimes.
4. The only exception of a cage is their carrier for when they are being taken to the vet or somewhere they must be.
5. You must provide a clear understanding of a rabbits daily needs and welfare in order to take them.
6. Previous experience with rabbits is required in order to have them
7. They must be treated with the utmost care and must never be abused
8. New owners must stay in contact and frequently show videos and pictures of how they are being cared for
9. Must be taken to the vets occasionally for checkups
10. On a day to day basis, most of their diet should consist of hay, a small portion of pellets a day and some greens and suitable vegetables for rabbits which will be mentioned
Please note that these terms are not to annoy anyone or anything but to give the rabbits the best life possible.
Rabbits are big commitment pets so please only message with much consideration.
With all these terms, you can look after these rabbits however if it doesn't work out or there are times where you can't look after them we will be open to take them in.
