I am a former nurse, social worker, lecturer polyglot, polymath, Norfolk born and bred, looking for like minded retired or serving caring professionals, artisans, teachers, social workers to set up and run a cooperative jointly owned and managed eco-friendly enterprise offering life skills, literacy, numeracy, arts, crafts, music, health, nutrition, cookery, horticulture, creative writing with music and art, exchange of skills, knowledge, tools, instruments, expertise in a Home from Home Social Centre Club or Hub in East Anglia. Need has been identified in small towns and villages. Good transport links essential. I envisage a light bright, open friendly environment welcoming members of all ages and backgrounds. I envisage using- converting a former shop or public house in need of restoration/ refurbishment to be undertaken by members and other volunteers.local charities could fund part of this undertaking Members would share food, drink, bring small pets, share books. I want a quiet secluded private corner for listening/counselling. and a parent/carers toddler corner with comfortable practical furniture tables and chairs. Mediterranean colours and atmosphere where members contribute reasonable charges run by a small committee and trustees.
